Re: so I need some interview questions! help a brotha out!
Brandon looking back about 14 yrs ago, the tattoo industry was a different world then what we know it to be like today.
The mentality of the mainstream and tattoo artists was different.
I remember someone was going to publish a "How To" book on Tattooing techniques, however this was to be a "Tell All" very explicit, no holds barred, nothing held back kind of a thing.(With video included)
Now we know Huck Spaulding did it, but not to this degree, His was kind of a "Get you going" book. And ppl respected it, because it didn't go beyond that,
because the general consensus of Tattooers back then was : "Screw that guy, giving away all the things that it took us 10 yrs to learn,by trial and error, blood ,sweat and tears"
however.... the other guy, his life was threatened, a price tag was put on his head, hate mail, death threats, alienation, tattoo artists of that time period wanting to jump in their cars , drives 2 states away to beat ass, ect.(and it was like that back then) So he never published the video or the books.
How do you feel about this?
Also have you been threatened or harrassed in the same way about having made "The Whole Enchilada"?
If you knew then what you know now, would you have made this video back then? why or why not? What is your take on the whole matter as it relates to you?
Would you have dared to be a "Salman Rushdie" as it were?

Re: so I need some interview questions! help a brotha out!
Brandon, we've come to know you as a very accomplished man,
you've done everything possible to advance your career
and promote the tattoo industry, everything
short of making an appearance in a major motion picture.
If the opportunity arose would you consider doing so?
If so, what type of movie would you be interested in doing?
Brandon, you are quite a celebrity in a different genre, does the Hollywood scene interest you at all?
Most know Gene Simmons to always be on the go with marketing himself, and KISS,
he went as far as doing a reality show,
His show seemed to focus more on his daily life than it does with KISS,
Would a reality show be something of interest at some point for you?
Maybe a show that has less to do with tattooing, and more on your life,
with vignettes of tattooing,
unlike Miami Ink?
We all know you like to tour, in the interests of marketing and self promotion
If a book deal were offered at some point,
seeing as how there is a lot of exposure surrounding book publication,
book signings, touring, etc, would this also be a possibility?
If so, what would the book be about?
What would be some of its main focal points?
Please give us a precursor to future endeavors of Brandon Bond

Re: so I need some interview questions! help a brotha out!
Has there been any consideration to do a "apprentice" dvd? when I say that I dont mean how to tattoo, but for people that are trying to find an apprenticeship/have an apprenticeship. what to focus on when doing certain mediums, how to put a portfolio together, art tips, drawing tips, what shops look for in your art, do's and dont's, how to approach shops that you havent gotten tattooed at for an apprenticeship, ect., you get the point, petty much everything under the sun for an apprenticeship just shy of running a shop or actual tattooing.

Re: so I need some interview questions! help a brotha out!
When will "The Whole Enchilada 3" be available for purchase ?
Will there be a question and answer segment ?
How long will the DVD be ? 90 mins etc ?
Who will be our Co-hosts ?
Will there be any new products advertised ?
In "The Whole Enchilada 2", you had mentioned that in part 3, there would be a tattoo
from start to finish,
Will the tattoo being performed, be a collaboration piece ?

Re: so I need some interview questions! help a brotha out!
Brandon , You've become quite remarkably well known throughout the tattoo industry,
however in my own opinion even with all the extensive media coverage , I think in a lot of ways we're still an "underground" industry. Yes everyone who tattoos knows who you are, and those reading tattoo magazines also, its seems you stay within the borders of what pertains to "tattoo" . will you try to go past this realm and reach beyond to somewhat mainstream world, or is this it?

Re: so I need some interview questions! help a brotha out!
Brandon, other than shooting mass casualty producing weapons, torturing apprentices and rescuing pitbulls...what gets you excited about life? Quoting from the famous words of Ice Cube...what makes you say "Today was a good day!"
John Loyd, you are open about your faith...and i like that about you...what positive and negative experiences have you had in the church as an inked up Christian?
Short, why are you such a pimp gangsta?
Jace and Vince, if you had complete artistic freedom what kind of tattoo would you like to do and how big?
Jarvis, you dont have much space left for more ink...who gets to tattoo whats left?
Pablo, what was the worst day you had at AON as an apprentice??
Shauna, being the new kid on the block, what do you think about the AON familia so far?
Nicole, being the anchor as Brandon's assistant, what's the best part of your job? And how many times have you wanted to pull your hair out?
Tony, whats it like being the young phenom tattoo artist amongst the veterans at AON?
Jason, you were recently featured in Rebel Ink, thats gotta be a good feeling to be recognized like that...what other accomplishments have you achieved that we dont know about? And what's next on the horizon for Jason Adkins?
