Watched Vicktory to the Underdog
I watched your documentary last night, and I have to say it was AMAZING!!! So well done, and so well thought out from beginning to end. The comparison of you to the Pits is great........very subtle, but definitely a point well made. I am sooooo disappointed to not be there this week-end. Hubby was in a bad car accident back in November, been out of work since, so no money in budget for a trip to Vegas. Hopefully this will become an annual thing and we will be able to be a part of it next year! We have 5 pits, all rescued and foster as well. So they are always our top priority with our money management! hahaha..............have an awesome week-end and thanks for all you are doing! You are awesome!!!

Re: Watched Vicktory to the Underdog
great weekend, film made me upset, angry, laugh, cry, wanna kick some ones ass, psyched, proud, an so many other emotions i can't begin to explain. seeing it at the premier really made the impact much heavier for me. seeing the images in such a large scale vs. in my living room made a very strong and intense visual.

Re: Watched Vicktory to the Underdog
i have a question for you animal people. is there any type of organization that deals with dogs that will allow you to kinda "big brother" a dog until they are found an owner. I can't actually get a dog because of my schedule but i would like to be able to spend some time with a dog from a shelter. like take em for a walk, play or something. Wow, this sounds really gay. Just always liked dogs but just not home enough to actually own one.

terry-
I don't know where you live, but I know in my town the local shelter is always asking for volunteers to come and walk the dogs... I don't think you can take them home unless you adopt them, but call your local shelter and check it out...

Re: Watched Vicktory to the Underdog
sure you can foster, but that's kinda like short term ownership, but i go down to my local shelter and help walk, feed, clean, or whatever they need. i do this at least once a month or more if my schedule permits. i constantly go down and donate food and treats. $20 - $40 a month is gonna break the bank.
btw, i do not consider myself an animal person, i just like to help shelter dogs. i'm not breed specific, it bugs me to see these poor dogs left to die because some one didn't have time or enough heart for them.
