Default Re: surge protector?

I'm just an apprentice tattooing so i cannot offer my advice there. However, For years i raced remote controlled cars on a professional level and we used similar power supply units for running our motor dynos, and lathes for turning the armatures. They had to be very accurate to dyno the out put of an electric motor. I never once noticed a change in voltage or amperage when using a surge protector. I would use one if I were you. Cant be too safe with equipment...Just my .02
