Too late it's been put there, so I talked to a guy about this thread and he said he tattooed a girl that worked at wal mart and she told him that one day at work, this six year old was cryin his eyes out, I guess his dad tattooed him that day and he was looking for something to put on it cause he saw that she had tattoos and she should know

Re: 9 Year old kid...with a tattoo!?!?
lol...The artist learned in prison!
Obviously he wasn't in long enough huh? Guess you can only do so much with a cassette motor.
But on the other hand, I have no problem tattooing minors IF, and I do mean IF: both parents approve, and it is a small, simple design (star, heart, etc) no larger than 3/8 inch square and in a hidden spot.
And my reasons for this are simple. God forbid that anything should happen to the child but at least there is an identifying mark for a positive identification. For this purpose, I feel the laws need to make exceptions.
In 37 years of tattooing, I've done maybe 5-6 of these ID type tattoos.

Re: 9 Year old kid...with a tattoo!?!?
You know, I get told all the time " Im surprised your kids aren't tattooed already"
They range from age 6- 6 months. Give me a f@#king break. My kids will not be getting tattooed under any circumstances until they are over 18, and maybe older, if I can talk them into waiting until they are sure.
I wouldn't care if my kids ever got tattoos. Its up to them..
But to see this, is absolutely horrifying.

Re: 9 Year old kid...with a tattoo!?!?
Okay, at 16 my son told me he wanted a tattoo. So we asked a friend if this was a possiblitiy. My son was pretty short and didn't have an once of fat on him at the time.
Anyway, our friend drew up a beautiful tattoo and after some discussion my son decided he wanted it as the center of what would eventually become his backpiece. ha ha ha!
He had no clue what he was getting into BUT he wanted it and we decided to let him learn for himself what tattoos are all about.
The first sitting was about 15 minutes and maybe about 6 lines!
We gladly paid very well including tip for 2 hours as we knew he had booked for a 2 hour session and we didn't want to waste his time.
The second sitting was about a half hour and our friend stopped tattooing and said that Jay was about to go out and boy was he right. Skin clammed up and then as my hubby grabbed the trash can my son threw up all over Taz's arm in the trash can. It wasn't pretty.
Son was fine and our friend said that he would not even attempt tattooing Jay again until he was 18!
I really now believe that is how it should be, although I do understand that putting a first tattoo over the spine is not the best idea either.
My son learned a valueable lesson and so did Taz & I!
Now my son has 2 pieces from Krooked Ken, 2-from local Baltimore artists, and he has the last tattoo done my Dennis Watkin's(RIP) done a month before his passing.
My son has been educated very well and knows what a good tattoo and tattoo artist are as well!
My Daughter I hope will take her time and not get tattooed until she is really in a stable career.
We did it because we our son wanted it, and we wanted to be able to make it happen for him. We all learned that it was a mistake!
What that woman did to her 9 year old is child abuse though!!!

We should sterilize the world.
misanthropy.
I hope that kid and his mentally challenged mother realized how s&!tty that looks now and how f@#king epic it will be by the time he is legal age to get tattooed.
