Default the best black ink for dark skin is......

WAVERLY!!!! i tattoo a lot of black people and other dark skin people, i've only been using waverly for like 3 weeks now, and already i've seen quite a few healed, and healed darker than the other tats i did on these people. im serious, waverly is soo black that i can see tats very clearly on super dark skin that normally would barely be visible, how many tats do you see on some people and you think"WTF is that' cant even see it.this stuff is the bomb!

anyways i gotta take waverly's balls off my chin now and go eat a sandwich.

hi, I'm james. I'm new.

I agree whole heartedly with everyone here. Waverly is rad. i would also put Dynamic right behind it. but if you want a great Pre-Mix grey wash, I suggest the new Intenze 3 bottle set. Its quite a bit darker than silver back and i find works GREAT on dark skin.

I just started this tattoo today with it gradients are pretty clear. http://jspooner.wordpress.com/2011/0...n-half-sleeve/

90% of my customers are dark skinned so ive been wondering myself. i use kuro just cuz thats what ive always used. i tried intense triple black but its really thick and hard as f@#k 2 wipe. im considering that waverly after reading this post.

if you're gonna switch from kuro to waverly it may take a little adjusting, kuro is easy flowing and wipes clean, waverly although has about the same consistency it also is messy, when doing your outline just blot it with your paper towel instead of wiping, at least until you got most of the stencil done.

i found waverly works best on a outline if you develope your lines more so than doing single pass lines, although now i can do single pass with it no problem.

for solid black waverly is the best! its easy to pack solid with this.

waverly definitily heals darker than kuro, which is what i previously used for years.

if not waverly, then definitily talens drawing ink for me.

weird, coming from using kuro...i find it a lot easier to get off the skin, and super easy flow. i do mainly single pass lines with larger groupings and this is the best ink ive found to date.

different strokes...
