Default Re: anyone else have trouble with Eternal Triple black Blowing out like crazy??

Wow I have the same lot # as described above and use it with no problem. IF you listen to eternal they suggest using triple for coloring large areas of black and do not suggest using for line work. BUT if using for line work I found to speed up my hand and machine a tad more than usual.
I've been using triple black for all me outlines for well over a year now.
Hope this helps.
IMHO the rib piece above looke like the skin might not have been stretched far enough and needle bounced and with this high concentration it creates the "halo" effect you are seeing.

From what I know the molecules of the triple black are smaller so migrating ink is inevitable(Its made to do that). Its meant as only a fill in so it migrates and fills in small areas that are missed. Eternal makes a lining black that does not migrate cause the molecules are bigger so they stay put ,but its crappy as a black filler. So I outline in lining black and ONLY fill in with the Triple black. Hope that helps

I just looked and It actually specifies on the web site that it is NOT an outlining ink in huge red letters haha.
