Re: THINGS YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR AT THE TATTOO PARLOR
Customer walks in, rolls up his sleeve exposing his s&!tty tattoo and says "What can you cover this with for 20 dollars or less"?
I replied, "A bandaid".

Re: THINGS YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR AT THE TATTOO PARLOR
True story,
I walk into my co-workers booth with my sad face on, He has client seated preparing to tattoo her. I start explaining to him how my bulldog (refering to a Ciferri shader) finally took a crap after having it for three years. I noticed her giving me an odd look and before I could explain that I was talking about a tattoo machine frame style, she spoke up and said, "Wow, I'm suprised it had survived this long without dieing".
I nearly died laughing. After wiping my tears, I resumed to my station to finish punching my spring stock.

I would have thought the same thing she did, but probably would have questioned you before making a statement like that.

I'll never forget it, just one of those things we carry with us the rest of our lives.
Yeah, If I were a person not familiar with the everyday workings of the tattoo industry, I would have thought I were talking about an English Bulldog.
