Default Painting training the brain for tattooing.

How many of you guys paint?
I just started working with NEW windsor newton water soluable oils. I noticed right away when I did my first tattoo after painting my approached already changed.

Mostly watercolor, a little acrylic, never oils. I really want to try doing some oil painting though.

i have had airbrush equipment for over a year and have yet to try it out.

I took an oil painting class when I was 12 and then quit. A couple months ago I decided to try again. I'm only about a quarter way through (the mouth is the only finished part) my first painting but I'm digging it so far. Oils are so easy to blend with. This is probably going to be another obsession of mine...

Thanks. I pretty much decided to take it up so that I can practice mixing and blending colors. Seems safer than practicing on skin.
