To many young kids with necks,hands and face tattoos...

lets curb this growing trend. The guys who inked me, held to the standard no hands face neck or even feet. (we did some feet tho)

way to many young kids with visible ink. Makes the tattoo community look like the trash they think we are. ruins to many lives. to many regrets...

lets keeep hands face and neck to pro tattoo artists with many years in the biz.

When I was in college and got my arm done, a 18 year old kid came in and, as his first tattoo, got a frog tattooed on his neck. The artists didn't try to discourage him or anything. Now it seems to me that one should be allowed to do what one wants, but being an impressionable freshman college student? Maybe one should encourage a less visible tattoo to begin with. If he is a little more experienced and seasoned, go on to the neck. Just make sure you do not want to work in white collar America one day....

i have a code i follow and i won't tattoo certain areas for people that aren't heavily covered, of them are all of the places you listed

No faces here...but who are we to say where an individual should get tattooed? Sounds too old school to me! I will stick the damn thing anywhere you want it as long as it fits the spot well and its not the face!

Thats like sayin youre not gonna sell a Corvette unless its to a racecar driver. But you gotta have some ethics.. If somebody is just not worthy you send em packin ,, but if rent gotta be paid at studio then the f@#kin frog is gettin put on the guys neck... everybody is all tatted anyway what does it matter .. gone are the days of feeling super tattooed cause you've got your neck hit .. everybody has neck tattoos,

I tell them to think about it for a week, and set an appointment unless they have major coverage.

the important thing to keep in mind here is that we are tattooing adults. people who should be capable of making good responsible decisions. and if they end up getting their neck tattooed and somewhere down the line it interferes with their chance at getting a certain job or whatever, thats on them, being responsible is part of being an adult. i warn people of the possible consequences of their tattoo placement. but i will put it where they want it. or they will go to the next town over and get a bad tattoo in that spot.

same here, i'll warn em 3 times but if they wanna go through with it that's their choice, and i'd rather do a cool tattoo and make the money off it rather than the guy down the street
