Hey everyone. My name is Chris Nettle, I am 24, live in Misawa Japan, and have been tattooing wth Brian Harris for just under a year currently. I joined here after watching Brian's work, and hearing the critiques he was being given. As I have my own style, I think it only right that I start having my own work critiqued so I can improve myself, rather then working off of what he is doing wrong. Being self taught with only minor help from Brian I am expecting to be ripped apart, but, all for the best in the long run right?

Hello all! First let me apologize, while this should have been my first post it was not.... I posted in the "dumb laws" section before seeing this sticky... Anyhow onto proper intoductions...

My name is Zak and I am from Northeast Pennsylvania. I currently work at Slingin' Ink Tattooing and Body Piercing, and have been working on clients for just about a year. Only small simple things nothing extravagant yet.... though I'm extremely excited about future prospects, as on paper photo-realism and illustration is more my business than the typical "tattoo friendly" designs clients around here seem to want more often then not. I try to work as humbly and gratuitously as I know how, slowly edging my way along the learning curve toward making my work on skin more congruent with what I can accomplish in other mediums.

I actually set out on this lovely career path when I was 17, but by 19 years of age it was clear I was not ready to give this profession the type of committment it not only deserves but requires. I resumed the trek on this journey when I was 23 after coming out of a tumultuous leg of my existance, discoverring a passion for it that completely eluded me in the past.

Well now I'm getting longwinded.... I love art, I love tattoos, I love to read, I am vegan, I am rather small and feminin for a male, I have an affinity for old video games and I have become sleep deprived in recent months after discoverring how much social networking one can do within this industry via the internet..... oh yea, and I am currently researching and developping the 8th day of the week to alot time for more tattooing and art.
