Help - want to get tattooed BUT...

Hi to anyone out there, tattoo artists or fans!

So here's my story.. when i was 11 i was diagnosed with Steven Johnson Syndrome (SJS), it is a skin disorder or blood infection.. we don't know 'cause it's rare :/ the thing is.. i have ALWAYS wanted to have a tattoo before.. but since SJS is a rare disease.. i cannot cross check this before getting inked. and i can't live with the idea of not having a tattoo.. i really just wanna go with it.. and see what happens later on.. but for sure.. i'm gonna die if i get SJS again :| several times i've tried to comfort myself telling me that my blood and skin won't let me have tattoos, but it makes me really sad!

i need your opinions.. anyone has ever encountered this before, or know someone who has had a skin disorder and still got tattoo.. or anything that can help really!
i don't wanna come off as desperate here.. but i WANT to get inked so bad >.< i have this urge that comes and goes.
