Hey Guys n Gals, i`m looking at buying a camera as i`m well over due for a new one. I`m not too clued up on cameras and i figured i`d ask you guys what ones are good , crap etc

Any recomendations ???? brands, megapixel, zoom etc

If you do a lot of color, I strongly suggest getting a nice SLR camera, which can be had for around 500. You'll get much more vibrant colors and your tattoos won't get washed out. The Canon Rebel is a good place to start.

If you go with a smaller point and shoot camera, find one that has an image stabilizer. Very important. Don't worry about megapixels. Most have at least 5 and anything more than that just isn't necessary unless you plan on printing large posters or something.

i dont know much about cameras but i got a cannon powershot digital elph for christmas and it takes amazing pictures. i used to have to take dozens of pictures of one piece just to get the right picture now i just take one. though i dont know how much it costs since i didnt buy it.

I ended up purchasing a SONY AX200 ran me about 500-600 its 10.2 megapixles

Thanks guys, now i had a few options to look at, anyone else recomend anything or have used the same camera as stated above let me know, i`ll probley go with the majority vote.
