Re: Color work problems
i just tune my machines to work at low voltage, but i'd agree that voltage doesnt really mean anything, as long as your machine runs good and clean it doesnt matter what voltage its at.
50% duty cycle is too high for color packing imo, i run liners around 47-48 , and color packers around 44-45, black and grey depends...but basicly 42-43. these dont work for everyone, this is what works for me.
it all really depends on your hand movements and how you do things, like for color packing/solid black i DONT use the small circles, its good for blending or b&g but just not quite good for solid work.
i use either a 9m or 15m and do the back and forth motions, but when you do that there is a curtain sound your supposed to hear to know its working, pretty much a rant rant rant rant about a half a second apart. IF YOU DONT KNOW THE SOUND AND FEEL DO NOT ATTEMPT.
pretty much man, lower your duty cycle down some and you'll notice a huge difference.
