i'm kinda dealing with similar issues right now. not that i'm ungrateful or even uncomfortable in the studio i work at, but i need to do a little more for the sake of my art and family. but i see it this way, i'm glad my bills are high, that tells me i'm doing the right thing by my family, of course i want life to be easier, but that's life. i'm working on opening my own studio and have some talented guys lined up to work with. i firmly believe that working with new artists will allow me to learn new things. so as the artwork gets better, so does the bottom line. i was starting to feel stagnent with what i was putting out due to generic tattoo requests. but hell, when you need to eat, the bread and butter is just fine. so to keep things alive, i discounted a few friends to put out stuff that i wanted to do. even though i didn't make a crap load of money on it, those tattoos make me feel much better about what i'm capable of doing and where my career is headed.

on a side note john: how did being vegan contribute to a heart attack? all my research would lend to the opposite, but as a vegan i am seriously interested to find out. thanks in advance.

Our bodies are not meant to eat only meat or vegetables. We have not evolved to that point yet, so for now we are built for the omnivore lifestyle. Going strong in either direction is going to put your health at risk.
