found this link in another forum. I love pulse machines. These new ones look pretty dope. If it's pulse, it gotta be good. www.Pulsetattooblog.blogspot.com

from what I can tell the tube vise looks pretty nice. It's one of my biggest gripes with tattoo machines.

that's what i dislike the most out of the pics i saw. a guillotine style vice like that doesn't take a whole lot to release even with a thumbscrew so their lever system is a bit overkill. But as long as it works, to each his own.

Saw the new Pulse , but already the older have been quite heavy and the new ones do not look to be significantly lighter. Dont know but Im a fan of light machines, and the Pulse machines do not look to weight under 8 ounces. Let me know .....

I like the pinch vices, myself. I've had a few of the guillotine vices and they seem to wear out over the course of a couple years. Just my experience, though. I'm sure other guys enjoy them. As far as the lever system, I've never really liked that. A good ole wingnut will do the job, thank you very much.

i'm with ya man. Pinch vises and a wingnut and you still get a quarter turn release of the tube (providing you're using tubes from the same manufacturer)
