Smyrna Georgia
Back around 1974, National Geographic ran a small blurb that Smyrna Georgia was the redneck capital of the world. About 1984 a man was shot at Vittles next door to AON with a handgun that belonged to the owner of Smyrna's only Tattoo shop named American Tattoo which was located a couple of blocks up the road. That shop moved from Smyrna after an apprentice tattooed some pot leaves on some minors and Smyrna outlawed Tattoo shops. The shop moved to Uncle Rolands Plaza on the corner of 41 Hwy and Windy Hill Road where it passed through a few hands and became Monkey Mans Club Tattoo where a young Deano Cook apprenticed.
Just a small bit of history for those of you too young to remember.
