Tosha was stolen
Someone tried to break in our house around noon on Saturday Febuary 12 by kicking in our door. They were believed to be scared off by our two dogs. The door was left open and the dogs got out. One dog was recovered just outside the house and the other, Tosha (a blue and white pit bull) showed up later that afternoon on Kenyon Street. The police were called about Tosha by a citizen who was afraid of her. When the police got there Christopher and Christina Leerson had possesion of Tosha. At this point two black males and a black female said they knew whos dog it was and called Martin Jackson who showed up a few minutes later and told the officer that the Tosha belonged to his brother Shug Jackson, Christopher and Christina Leerssen verified that the person was indeed Martin Jackson and not just someone using his name. Martin Jackson then took Tosha to 864 Kirkwood Avenue Southeast, Atlanta Ga.
On Sunday Febuary 13 I (Corey Starling) went to 864 Kirkwood Avenue to ask about Tosha and get her back. I was greeted with hostility and told by Shug Jackson that they had never seen Tosha and knew nothing about her. He then called his brother Martin Jackson who also said he had never seen Tosha and knew nothing about her. I left and contacted Atlanta Police Department. An officer showed up and told me he was familiar with the situation the day before and Martin Jackson did leave with Tosha. We went to the Jackson house at 864 Kirkwood Avenue and Mr. Jackson (Shug and Martins father) came out to talk to the officer and I. Martin was called and the APD officer talked with him at wich point he told the officer that he let Tosha go after he found out it was not his brothers dog. Tosha was not seen again after Martin Jackson left with her Saturday Febuary 12.
