Re: Anyone Try the New Fusion Machine??
I have both Fusions, liner and shader. I absolutely love them both. Yeah, the downfall is that you cant adjust them, but they run as solid as a rock lining, and pack the hell outta color and greywash. The only thing that I can say, is give em a try. Everyone has their own pref's, but like I said, I couldnt ask for anything better!!

Re: Anyone Try the New Fusion Machine??
i considered getting a Fusion but was put off on the limited adjustment factor, so i went with the Intruder instead...oh man, what a mistake...
has anyone else had issues with Time Machines burning through springs?? i know the intruder is like a 12 wrap coil and theres some juice going through the thing...but damn, it'll burn clean through a spring in under a month. I dont even run the power through it very high.
i called TM for the 'lifetime warranty' which is a joke...they wanted $50 plus shipping both ways to 'fix' the thing, so i ended up replacing springs 3 more times before i said screw it and invested in some neumas (which i love). one thing's for sure though...Fowler will never see another penny of my money

that is disapointing that they wouldnt send you springs. what the hell. i did one time, break a rear spring and a friend gave me some springs he had from his time machine, and it took about 3 weeks for them to break, while waiting from springs from the machine maker...and havent had a problem since.
i like a thicker spring, a little snappier than time machines...plus the while spring is adjustable, and i think it really needs to be punched, to strengthen the spring...
havent tried neumas, but i did get a pair of infiniteirons.com machines recently, and they are smooth as butter.

Re: Anyone Try the New Fusion Machine??
a buddy of mine had 2 time machines (g's if i'm not mistaken) which he learned with and hadn't run in over a year b/c he hated them. One had a busted twisted vice, so i took the other and after replacing the binding posts and adjusting the springs got it running like a dream, he's been using it daily ever since.

jay
you'll have to post the performance details on that machine. I know Rex has sold lots of coil sets and i've always wondered how they've performed considering the materials.
