I will be sitting for Tim on Saturday, he will be finishing the color in a calf sleeve that is a cover of a nasty tribal dragon. It only took Tim about half an hour to bust out a Sharpie drawing that rocked my socks off! By the end of the night I had the outline and some shading done and drove home to Fla. giddy like a school girl. Hopefully we will get some pics to post while I'm there. If you haven't seen the two portraits that he posted recently in his gallery check them out, they are amazing.

I'll be in your shop by 6:00 p.m. Saturday. I'll be the one foaming at the mouth and twitching from my needle jones. Actually I'll get there early so I can see what kind of goofy s&!t the apprentices are up to. BTW-What the hell is that in Matt Heft's cup? Looks like the creature from the black lagoon was donating at the local sperm bank.

Well Tim got a huge amount of my calf colored, but we will need a couple of hours more to finish. The color that went in looks amazing. I was skeptical at first about color in general as my intentions were to keep it b&g. I can say without a doubt that color was the right choice. Once again I will take the opportunity to tell everyone how great Tim is to work with. He is very focused and makes the most of the time that he has you in his chair. That goes for all the artists in the shop. They put out some top notch pieces while I was in the shop. I really enjoyed all the feedback that I got from the other artists and apprentices that popped in while Tim was working. Also the wrestling matches between Raiden and Bryan were pretty entertaining. Collar chops and sternum rubs for everyone. I can't wait to get back in a few weeks to get this thing finished.

I just have to say that I was there the day that Ace got that leg piece from Tim...what an amazing piece!!!!

Tim's work is truly awesome and Ace is just one of Tim's many lucky clients.

And yeah, between listening to Mitch Hedberg and seeing the WWF wrestling going on in the back....there was plenty to keep a guy occupied through an all day sitting.

:-)

I always enjoy how he puts the women in different poses...it gets a little boring seeing the same pose with a pin-up.Its just refreshing to see variety.
