Lighter colours

Hi all, when i see pics from brandon and the crew the lighter colours come out so bright, when i do blends through to white the later stages come out slightly duller because of the blood i think, they heal clean bright and nice but the rednes and blood tarnishes the lighter colours, how can you keep them so bright through the process? Any help would be appreciated! Cheers

Whose lighter colors are you using? I've had great results with starbrite baby blue for blues, millenium luscious lavender and violent violet for purple shades. No one brand that i've ran into has every shade work for me.

Yeah i have been using millenium's starbrite kuro sumi and eternals, the greens and blue's are the ones i have had trouble with... Starbrite green's. And blues i was using kuro sumi&eternal blues, blue is the major one to be honest, milleniums blue's arent great for me, and eternal and kuro sumi blue is nice for colouring and fill but not when you blend lighter (with white)

That's where your f'n up. Can't think all blues one company good! try eternal cobalt, iron buterfly medium blue, starbrite country blue, starbrite baby blue. BAM!

Find the best dark, medium and light you must. try combinations. for green try kuro sumi bamboo green, eternal jungle green, starbrite lime green. bam! gotta try different combinations to fit what suits you best. Sh@t can get mad expensive!

Another reason lighter colors dont stay bright is because some artists tend to over work them thinking there not going in. The blood makes it look like it's not there so they keep pounding. I see this mostly with greens and lighter blueish teal shades.
