Default First Tattoo Questions

Not sure if this would be the right place to ask this but here goes. I am looking to get my first tattoo, I want it on either the inside of both wrists or as a back peice. I have asked people that have gotten tattoos before and never gotten a decent answer so I figured I would ask the artists, directly. I am going to be visiting Atlanta/Middle Georgia in October from my station overseas and was hoping to get it done then. The problem is I am not sure if it is in my price range now or if I can even get it done in one sitting. Below is the image of the tattoo I want. Any help will be appreciated.

Back. It's way too small for the wrist.

The back!

You could do that whole splitting it between the wrists so it looks like the one from Constantine, but it could look so much better on your back. It'd also be easier to hide until it has healed.

Can anyone then give me a estimate about how much that would run to do on my back, and if it would be possible to do it in one sitting.

I agree with the rest of the guys, go for the back dude.

Price totally depends on the artist / studio you choose. We all have different rates.

It all depends on the final draft the artist comes up with and how long it takes to do. You can have it done in 8 hours for $2k or 2 hours for $50. The former is a bit much, but the latter is one that you should definitely avoid.

Just look through different artist portfolios, find someone you really like, go meet with them and see if you like them as much as their work, and then talk price and how long it might take.

If you shop around for the best price, you're going to get a really s&!tty tattoo that will end up in our bad tattoo thread two days after you upload it to your myspace.
