Default Cheyenne Hawk update?

First off since this is my first post allow me to introduce myself. Pete Tieman here. I have been tattooing since feb 2000. I currently work at Living Canvas Columbia MO.

Ok I noticed attitudes seem to have changed towards the Hawk, seems they have lost favor with those who once supported them. I am curious why? I'm not interested in the "coils or die" type responses but would instead like to here from those that actually gave them a fair shot. Did you see a problem with healed tattoos? What caused you to stop using them?

I would love to know the answers to this myself , I've been very curious about the whole "Hawk" phenomenon. Would much like to hear more.

i've never used one HOWEVER i did see a tattoo done with one (by a semi-well known artist) gradually deteriorate over the course of about a year on a guy i used to work with. he was pretty pissed, but it was the damnedest thing i'd ever seen a tattoo do

I think the price of the needle cartridges is what turned a lot of people off.. and wasn't there a problem with their availability a while back..

I think that was people's biggest complaint, but now t-tech are making some nice, well priced, needle cartridges for them I've gone and bought one..
