Unhappy Hatfield and McCoy's

Why is it that a lot,.. not all tattoo shop talk smack about each other?
I have only been tattooing for about 3 years now,.. and my old boss just loves to put up pix of stuff that I did when I was still his apprentice. He post them and then makes little comments like Sh*ty tattoo fixed by,... or Sh*ty tattoo he should quit,... ect. ect.
Now I know that I'm not the best tattooist out there,.. I'm no Bond, Booth, Rudy,.. or anyone else, nor do I wanna be I just don't understand why someone would talk trash like that for no good reason.
The only reason he has to not like me is the fact that I quit working for him so I could move on and work with other artist's. I want to learn, and when I was working for this guy I was working by myself in a new shop that he had me open for him. (keep in mind) My apprenticeship lasted about 9 months.

people are strange especially in this industry!!! its all part of the game - we try to just keep pushing foreward and let it roll off of our backs - the best revenge is your own sucess.

Most industries that require artistic talent like that. When I was in college there was the designers vs. the artists. The designers thought the artists were a buncha free loaders. An the artists thought we were sell-outs. But in the end we found a common enemy...

The architecture student... They all thought they were perfect an could do anything in the world.

Everyone has nothing but helpful advice for each other. You people are great.
I really do need to start coming back here more so I can surround myself with good people again.
