Hatfield and McCoy's
Why is it that a lot,.. not all tattoo shop talk smack about each other?
I have only been tattooing for about 3 years now,.. and my old boss just loves to put up pix of stuff that I did when I was still his apprentice. He post them and then makes little comments like Sh*ty tattoo fixed by,... or Sh*ty tattoo he should quit,... ect. ect.
Now I know that I'm not the best tattooist out there,.. I'm no Bond, Booth, Rudy,.. or anyone else, nor do I wanna be I just don't understand why someone would talk trash like that for no good reason.
The only reason he has to not like me is the fact that I quit working for him so I could move on and work with other artist's. I want to learn, and when I was working for this guy I was working by myself in a new shop that he had me open for him. (keep in mind) My apprenticeship lasted about 9 months.

Thanks a lot for the advice,... It will all be taken to heart.
Not to sound like I'm riding your nut's man,... but I told myself from the start that I would love to learn from the best, weather it's online or in person, and that is what Im gonna do.
Thank you very much.

Re: Hatfield and McCoy's
Most industries that require artistic talent like that. When I was in college there was the designers vs. the artists. The designers thought the artists were a buncha free loaders. An the artists thought we were sell-outs. But in the end we found a common enemy...
The architecture student... They all thought they were perfect an could do anything in the world.
