Default ideas for pet surgery financing?

being a tattoo artist, you guys know how hard it is to afford health care... let alone health care for a pet.

We resuced a pit bull named Jonah three and a half years ago... he tore both his ccls (the ligament in his knee that lets him walk).

We managed to scrape up enough scratch to pay for one surgery (which we are picking him up from today)... they found out in the surgery that the other leg had the same issue.

3k may not sound like a lot... but to a street shop guy like me, it might as well be 30k!

anyone else ever have an issue like this? what did you do? I feel like I called in all my favors and pulled every ace out just to get the first surgery handled.

never underestimate the power of a jar that says "need money for dog". most people would rather see your dog get surgery than you have food to eat. bank on that!
