How many printer copies of this exact image have been brought into your shop over the past 3 years?

same here. i've beat my head against the wall trying to explain to people how crappy of a tattoo this is anyways and how easy it would be to redraw the design to look equally as good and then tattoo it better. this sucker will make you appreciate lidocaine. if you ain't tried it, you should

Re: ALL ART POST HERE
it's a life saver when you get those that can't take pain. i can tattoo someone shaking or moving just fine. But the involuntary jerks u get on some people when lining ribs is damn near impossible to work with. especially when it's long lines like on this. I think it was mike devries that told one of my artists about blue gel which is great after you've lined and we've started using the pro plus and t plus predeadeners for taking the edge off of lining for those hard to handle places.
Just my personal experience, but it makes life easier for everyone and faster.

is it a gel and where do you get it at? do you charge more if they use that? i used some stuff years ago that you put on and wrapped it in saran wrap..then you had them come back after an hour..some said it worked and some said that they couldnt tell the difference..
i would like to try some of the stuff that you mentioned..
by the way mike deveries is an amazing artist.did you ever see that gorilla that he did with the green background

Re: ALL ART POST HERE
dermalsource.com- it's kind of a cream. and it's kinda pricey. $40 will last 3 or 4 times.
t plus or pro plus. it's the same application. trick is to shave really well regardless if there is much hair or not, and to clean really well with green soap. don't use alcohol or anything with alcohol in it or it'll close the pores. then layer the stuff on thick.
it is a hit and miss thing. Some people feel nothing, and some don't think it's doing much. but it will always take the edge off enough to stop the involuntary jumping.
and ya, i've followed mike devries work for a while. he's done a ton of sick gorillas and i was blown away by the chicken.
ps. sorry everyone for this tangent on the all art thread
