This is the Best pro/con Vick article ever. I have studied this in length, filmed a documentary about it, and even adopted one of his dogs. here is a preview of our film discussing “second chances”

I am absoluetly blown away by this article. When we first released the film a lot of animal people were expecting to see a stock animal planet type response to the Vick future type question. This is not what we produced by any stretch.
Our opinion blew some “animal lovers” minds, because we suggest that he does in fact deserve the opportunity, once he pays his court appointed debt to society. I’m sure you can understand how a lot of folks seemed to assume we were insane. But the film istelf deals in second chances, rehabilitation, growth, forgiveness, and change, so it would have been hypocritical to come to any orther conclusion.
I adopted his former dog who we named Makavelli, and I can tell you “Mak” is not an Eagles fan, but as I sit here watching his first start sonce 2006, I cannot help but pull for Vick. I am probably the only animal person on earth who is feeling this. My wife does not feel the same way, but she is even sitting watching the Jax/Phil game as I type this, and she hated football before this!
Thank you for writing this article, it is amazingly well thought out and executed.
