Re: Eternal Ink
eternal is great, their crimson red is a little thick and their nuc green is hard to use for some reason. but everything else has worked great for me so far.

Re: Eternal Ink
I like their colours but their lining black I had problems with. Maybe it was just a bad batch but I know of four artists who had problems with it spreading under the skin. Not the slight blowing that can happen, this stuff caused a grey halo nearly 1/4" wide - pale grey, watery looking. Happened to three of us in my studio (all using different bottles that were ordered at the same time) and to another chap I know up country.
So I've ditched the black and returned to Micky Sharpz, but their other colours are good. I love the hot pink - light and bright and shows up well in the skin. Also like the grass green - strong and deep, covers well and blends easy.

Re: Eternal Ink
I've been using Eternal for 3 years and I have been very happy with them. Clients always love how bright their tattoos heal. The colors that are a lil harder to work in the skin work better when diluted in the cap with distilled water. I do not like Dark Red because it heals out more pink and the Dark Brown isn't the greatest. I have substituted some Eternals with Starbrite and between the 2 lines, I've been happy. I'm very curious about Alla Prima though and have thought about ordering some to give them a try.

Re: Eternal Ink
I actually just recently got a bunch of Eternal Ink, and I really dig some of their colors, but some colors, I definitely prefer Starbrite or Waverly.
I ordered some AllaPrima just out of curiousity, so I'll let you know how I personally like it.

Re: Eternal Ink
Eternal Ink is great... I agree with most that the greens are a little hard to work. I usually just add a couple drops of water in the cup and make sure the tip is fully loaded at all times... I used Intenze for a while and ended up tossing em after I saw my first Eternal tattoo all healed... It's good stuff...

i don't use Eternal Ink. few colors from this place few from other places.
i also have had that halo thing happen to me a few times over the years not only with black but other colors too. i have asked others outside this forum years ago but always got a smart a$$ reply. the only thing i can think that would cause this is to much water retention in the skin when the tattoo is being done. i base that of off what happened to a friend i tattooed. she got a tattoo on the ankle, that night bar tended in knee high boots. it swelled up pretty good . she showed me it the next day for help and it had that halo all around it. i did not now what to tell her but to stay of it for a few days take some ibuprofen to get the swelling down. all that worked the tattoo healed up solid accept the halo witch eventually faded away. took 3 months to fade
any body else know any thing on that halo thing?

It happened to me once with a green outline, it was caused by edema... half the outline was perfect but the other spread like 1/4 inch... edema does some really strange things to a tattoo... and its pretty common in legs
