The book had a common sense approach to tattooing,
it is a good book to read in addition to an apprenticeship.
My first kit was from Spaulding, I've moved on to more advanced equipment over the years of course Pretty straight forward equipment for a beginner.

So I don't knock old Huck , I still got a machine from them its an "Old Style Supreme" w/o contact point
I still like em, the frame is great for a custom rebuild.

My second was a "Philidelphia Eddie" from "Freedom Tattoo Supply" I wanna say .
Currently I use Arron Cain Machines, I like em.

Huck Spaulding Enterprises is one of the leading tattoo equipment suppliers in the world, has been for years, can't be all bad.

Definitely looking to go find one of those giant box power supplies. My mentor (8 years ago) had one of those things and it reminded me of an old radio or something. But he ran it like a champ, lol.

I own a lunch box:-) but it for some reason is not adjusted right or somthing. I loved the footpedal for it nice and heavy. I got it about 13 years ago. Along with a Ultra-light from HS, that machine sucked so bad I ended up rebuildig everything on it.
