Default Session Session Question (not a typo lol)

Heyo again

I have been looking around on your galleries and you mention, in many of the captions, that you tattooed two or more sessions two or more days days in a row.

My boss tells me that you (not YOU, but the "generalized" you lol) have to wait for the tatt to heal completely before starting another session.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of multiple sessions on continuous days? Why does my boss say that I have to wait for the skin to heal completely before starting another session?

How many times can I say the word "session" in one post?

Thanx in advance, and I just wanna say that you guys taking the time out of your days to answer the same questions over and over again from everyone is absolutely amazing...it's people like you that really keep the community going! Kudos

...oh, I almost forgot...

...session...

I am not tattooing the same skin ver and over, Im tattooing NEW ground every day and taking it to completion

the art of the multiple session is just that.... an art

the layout is carefully considered and weighed and the starting point is always as far away from the ending point as possible

advantages: yeah you get your whole arm done in one trip or two or three instead of 37!!!!!!

drawbacks: swelling, frustration, working your artist to death, hangover, and generally people have to save up a while if they want two or three or four full days in a row!!!!!!

however it DOES not effect the artwork at all if its done right

Wow, that's a great f@#kin' explanation

I was asking my boss just yesterday (the day between my question and your answer lo)l why he wanted to wait for tattoos to heal up before starting another session, and he said pretty much what you said...

...it's odd...I don't get to see him as much as I would like, which means that I don't get to ask as many questions as I would like, but I'm sure you know how it goes. Busy busy busy

Great answer again, man...thanks a ton!

Chris
