I think I have a problem?

In my case I collect up to 5 times what my girlfriend does. We put all the money together, we pay the bills and reserve some money to buy regular stuff. Everything that's left goes for savings. But we had a lot of fight about the money subject, I don't think this is an easy subject. It takes a lot of time and a lot of patience...

We have our money.
Sure,.. I try to keep some "she money" but that most always comes out of my tips.
House, kids, food and all around needs come first and foremost.

This is the way I grew up, and I have been trying to get him to agree to this for the past 2 years. I understand why he doesn't agree - he has been burned in the past by the whole "our money" thing as opposed to "my money and your money" however we have been together for almost 3 years now and I'm trying to get him to take that step.

Yeah money is a motherf@#ker, it starts wars, gets people killed or thrown in prison. I seem to never have any no matter how much I make in a day or week. Sometimes outlandish amounts in a week, but always gone so fast. Too much too fast is an issue also. I guess Ill keep spending like I always do and just make more. f@#k it, its only cash.
