Big piece of s&!t for lining, that's for damn sure. Works wonders for everything else, including cross contamination, travelling lightly, and saving time (not saving $$$ tho...).

I use it every chance I can.

Hmm. That kind of sucks. Don't really want to buy yet another machine that's only any good for shading& fill.
Any worse to line than other rotaries in that it's line ok of you're riding the tip?

yeah you gotta ride it with the hawk. but their liner needles suck. the biggest grouping they have is still quite small. they need 11s and s&!t.

decided to pass... Ordered another Stigma machine, a hyper v2. It's supposed to arrive next week. The Bizarre is the machine I use the most so it should compliment it well.

linear rotaries are real similar to the neuma's in how they tattoo i gotta pick me up one, just trying to find one of good quality before i buy another and tear it apart into a shag style one off

I've seen a german piece of engineering that looks and works just like the hawk but uses standard needle bars and tubes might be worth a look all cnc milled aluminum, real lightweight... i'll post a link if i can find it again...

What's up everyone, I'm new to the board, but I am really interested in getting some feedback on Nuemas as well. I have been doing alot of photorealism for the past year or so, and from what I've heard and seen, they seem to be cut out for that type of work. But I feel like there is something really gratifying, about tattooing with electric machines. You have to know them inside and out, you have to maintain them, replace parts, make adjustments, and care for them, and in turn, they run sweet and produce beautiful work... There really is a good deal of intamacy between an artist and his machines, and i think that connection has deep f@#kin roots. Dont get me wrong, there are many artist who use Nuemas who's work is insane, and I have a tremendous amount of respect for. But there is a grasshopper generation of tattoo artist out there, who want to jump straight to Nuemas, without having an understanding for coil machines, because they dont want to put the work into grasping their complexity, and maintaining their performance.
