every now and then I'll shave some designs around the edges, just for the hell of it. I mean, if you've gotta take a big ole patch out, why not make it stylish with a nike swoop or something. Ya dig??? hahaha!!!!

for some reason the pink lady bic's work the best

depends on the body area and whether it's a male or female, the ribs and other areas with finer hairs i'll go against the grain as they're almost impossible to get completely hairless... chests, legs coarser hairs i go with, arms against

but if you shave it properly you shouldn't get ingrowns, the key is lots of soap and not going over the same area repeatedly, make sure you look at the type of razor you're using and hold it at the right angle

with the grain as much as possible, cheap double blades with lubricating strips, and Dr. Bonners soap works great.

I've never been shaved for my tattoos, and I've had them both on the stomach/rib area.. Maybe my hair is just very fine? (Both tattoos worked out great though btw)

then you didn't get tattooed properly... everyone has small fine hairs on their bodies next time you go get tattooed make sure they shave the area
