we hired bryan reynolds from tennessee was my understanding - he was fired by dave from GCF many months prior - we have never hired a local artist our of respect for other shops. Bryan was not working anywhere when he came to dave tedder for a job.

There is a slew of dvds on the market - 14 by our count and many are by great tattooers like Nate Beavers and Joshua Carlton - hell guy aitchinson released the book "reinventing the tattoo" which was totally a "how to" book and an awesome one years ago! There is all kinds of books from hacks everywhere who dont know s&!t about shinola releasing information to the public... ours does not go to the public and it is NOT a "how to" dvd... at all.

there are no OLD SECRETS handed down from old timers to me on this dvd - its how WE do things, why OUR artists grow so fast and what WE do at all or nothing to take an artist to the next level of his carreer. It is awesome and we have gotten piles of thankful letters explaining how artists have taken their stuff to the next level after watching the dvd.

no one was b1tc4ing when we toured for 2 years doing LIVE seminars at conventions with the SAME INFORMATION - shane oneal, bob tyrrell, joe capobianco, deano cook, paul booth, hell just about everybody whos everybody has done seminars at conventions. Hell this was FILMED at a LIVE SEMINAR!!!!

and I know for a fact that THE CONVENTION PEOPLE TO NOT ASK FOR LISCENCES AT THE DOOR - anyone who has the money gets into those - isnt that a b1tc4????

we actually check liscencing and portfolios - conventions do not - which was one of the main reasons I wanted to stop doing live seminars. I was answering questions for scratchers just like everyone else who teaches live "unchecked" seminars open to the public.
