Re: Tattoo Highway - New Tattoo show
you know.. this show REALLY does eat a s&!tsammy...
id much rather watch something that will catch my attention.. you know? like the NAT GEO one on catching tweakers! haha..
the show seems cheap and lame.. he has bad hair.. and a "cockstar" attitude in his tattoo-manship.. and personally i AM saying it.. but i cant stand it.. hes no badass. hes just got the funding and a bus.. woopie f@#kin doo.. ive not seen a SINGLE badass color piece.. it all looks bland and plain.. grey shade ehh.. (and dont mind the two plugs for Eternal ink and now apparently Alla Prima jumped on the bandwagon..)
great..
these and many other tattooing sitcom shows on "prime time" just suck.. just stop please.. cause if i hear another ASSHOLE come into my shop and ask me about how they saw this or that piece on Cat-Von-Skeeze's show... or on Miami sink.. ill f@#kin chokeslam someone.. Come in to the shop.. lets discuss a CUSTOM piece for YOU.. and your baggage..
just my thoughts..

Re: Tattoo Highway - New Tattoo show
its a show about someone that tattoos on a mid skill level driving around a bus tattooing people. not everyone is a jack rudy....guy aitchison....brandon bond....etc. i thinks its pretty appropriate to the attitude, lifestyle, and skill level of 99% of the other artists I have worked with. I cant hate on the guy one bit. Decent tattoos, a level of respect for tattooers, and atleast the product placement and ads are of GOOD quality stuff.... (watch the first season of miami ink and all their SKIN CANDY bottles) I think most artists Ive worked with think they are all a gift to the tattoo world, that their work is mind blowing, and that they deserve more respect than they are getting, THis guy is no different....but hey...I kinda dug the show myself.

In aggreance on some of it but, bringing tattooing the the main stream we are more accepted yes, but this show and all before it created over a 1,000 scratchers a episode. Not what we needed, I GOT OUT of Tattooing because of the main stream Bs, it's hard to compete in denver when there was 150 shops when i started out now we are at over 250 and 20 scratchers for every shop and enough people that don't know any better.
Cause and effect this shows have more Negtives then Poz, Dudes an ok Tattooer but I won't support something that will make good tattooers broke cause of stupid people.
Remember Tattoo Art work you sell when your Alive, Picaso died Broke
