it makes me laugh when a guy gets all bent over seeing a tattoo some one else did from the same reference and says "you stole my tattoo" not saying this is the case here, but i had a guy do i to me once. what a douche.

I knew I had seen it before, but the colors were different. I don't think I ever saw the original reference piece.

If I see someone else with my sleeve, or a variation of it; I will be flattered and then pissed. But this is only because I have no reference for mine. And if you are going to use a reference for something, you'd best expect others will be doing the same thing.

Finished this up saturday -- it was a cover-up too, hence the opaque gray.

pretty cool, gears are a challenge for sure. The first black and grey peice I ever did when I first started tattooing was a paul booth leaf man. I used starbrite grey and black and white. I dont know why I gave up doing that I love the look it gets.

I don't use it on photo-realistic but if I'm just doing some black fading into skin, like on wind bars, true gray work beautifully to smooth it out.
