This is the way I grew up, and I have been trying to get him to agree to this for the past 2 years. I understand why he doesn't agree - he has been burned in the past by the whole "our money" thing as opposed to "my money and your money" however we have been together for almost 3 years now and I'm trying to get him to take that step.
