I'm on schedule to open doors to the public May 1, but anyway here are the details...
Jaded Gypsy Tattoo is located in Rock Island, Il, on the Mississippi River and part of the Quad Cities area. total population about 250k (i assume most of you viewing this are not from the area) plenty to see and do and Chicago is only 2 1/2 hrs away.
for the artist, the shop is meant to be as flexible as possible, you WILL BE an independent contractor...no blurring of the IC/employee line, no contracts, no non-competes. I've worked for some pretty s&!tty owners before and have been bamboozeled and taken advantage of enough...this shop is not my attempt to take it out on some other sucker, this is my attempt to MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
I'm looking for someone with street shop experience but quality of work is what i'm concerned with. great customer service is a must in this area to build and maintain a clientel. no drama, no attitudes, no substance abuse issues of course and most importantly...must be able to produce some sort of proof of apprenticeship.
