Its a pretty easy area to do! Not unlike doing an ankle where the skin is tight and you can get a little spread so take it easy, but other than that its a nice area to do cos its stretched already!...

Don't forget brown is red and black mixed, so try that too, may give you a richer brown without going muddy.

And buy some decent drawing materials - they look like they were done with what you had to hand. If you get a set of pencils from 6h to 6b you'll get better shading results , hope this helps :) and...

In my experience its also about keeping the tattoo simple - complex fussy designs just get lost, bold ones are easier to pick out on a dark background. You can get an idea by printing various shades...

I don't use the cheap chinese stuff, I use Micky Sharpz and Lionel Titcheners stuff (as i'm in the UK), but they still wear.

On the same topic, kinda, do you find some tips wear quicker than others?

Since I've been using ready mades my tips are wearing grooves, the seven round colourers and 3 liner tips are the worst...

I agree -I use it neat too, best stuff for transfers and cleans them a little more in the process :)

I tried using that Stencil Stuff but found it too "smudgy" - dettol can too of course, but...
