I met the guy That mixes the pigment at the All American Tattoo festival in Sacramento this weekend. Had a good talk with him.

He mixes all the pigments and tests and refines it at the tattoo...

I've used bactine on many pieces. got to use it on broken skin and let her soak in. best to use before a clients' "smoke break" so the areas not incredibly painful when you get back to er.

Sucks because I have fabric hand wraps. so now I have to strip it and re-wrap. Along with a complete scrub down.

Did it with millennium inks and then I upgraded to Eternals which are much thinner...

I use to spray my machines down with Cavicide then wait and wipe. I had four separate back springs break on four separate machines during a single tattoo. They were all corroded from the Cavicide....

I just started using antibacterial soap and distilled h2o. h2o alone seems gritty and needs a little lube.

On a side note. Anyone using bactine as a semi numbing agent.?? works well.

Last shop I worked at they didn't have a thermo. I even offered to bring my own into the shop... no go.

They still made stencils tho. just by hand. Didn’t see the logic in that at all.
