The V(icktory) Dogs: On Oprah's Website!

http://www.oprah.com/community/thread/155977

The stories each of these dogs have to tell is an important one. To most, they are known as a collective group of dogs- rescued from a horrible life, and that is all. For a lot of us, we see each dog as an individual; individual achievements and individual obstacles. Each has struggled, each has accomplished and each is loved. They have family, they have friends and they have fans. The story they have to tell is one that transcends all, there are no boarders, no boundaries and nowhere has it been written that we humans can not learn or become better through this collective group of dogs, while sharing their journey.
The dogs are:
Alf, Audie, Bonita (RIP), Charlie, Cherry, Curly, Denzel, Ellen, Ernie, Frodo, Georgia, Ginger, Grace, Gypsy, Halle, Handsome Dan, Harriet, Hector, Iggy, Jasmine (RIP), Jhumpa Jones, Johnny Justice, Lance, Layla, Leo, Little Red, Lucas, Mabel, Makevelli, Mel, Meryl, Mya, Oliver, Oscar, Ray, Red (RIP), Rose (RIP), Seven, Sox, Stella, Squeaker, Sweet Pea, Teddles, Tug, Shadow, Sussex (RIP), Uba, Willie, Zippy ...and they have a lot to tell.

Any show about Michael Vick's dogs would be incomplete without giving due credit to Brandon Bond of All Or Nothing Tattoo and All Or Nothing Pitbull Rescue from Smyrna, GA. Brandon received 2 of Vick's dogs, Seven and Makevelli. Seven passed away due to an unfortunate accident, but has Makevelli with him still. His video, Vicktory To the Underdog, is an absolute must see. I have a pit mix and am fostering another. Many years ago, a beautiful little female showed up on my doorstep, obviously having escaped from a breeding/fighting group. She saved my life twice, once from an armed intruder. Pits are dedicated, loyal, loving, goofy, intelligent dogs that deserve recognition for what they really are. Pets. Remember, adopt, don't buy!"
