I cant stop spending all of my money on guns, lots of guns... I dont even have a f@#kin car, just a motorcycle and guns. Life is becoming unmanageable, bills not paid, no food in fridge,kids college fund went to kimber. I guess the kid can fend for herself. Who said life was easy? Firearms anonymous?

Look at it this way as long as you keep collecting those really nice pieces, you'll never be broke.......its like an investment...

Okay, so how bout this one guys - my fiancé thinks that we should split the bills 50/50 even though his salary is more than double mine. I think that he should take on a larger percentage than I do so that we are left with a more equal amount after the bills are paid.

What do you guys think?

Does he collect guns or motorcycles? I have an abundance of things I really need; guns, motorcycle parts, tattoo goodies, tools, beer... No matter who pays what I will hand over every dollar I make above and beyond my "needs". Does he not have enough money for his habits or collections? Thats the only reason I see for him wanting to have more discretionary capital. 50/50 is fair as long as both have needs and wants handled.

No, he doesn't collect anything - he just feels that his money is his money and my money is my money and that it's not fair for me to ask him to take on a larger percentage of the bills just because he makes more.

I will say that if I run low on money he will carry me so to speak, but it sometimes makes me feel bad. It's hard to put into words without offending him as he is a member on this forum and this is just a general feedback question.

Basicaly he feels that by me paying 50% of the bills, I am contributing equally to the family....which I can see his point. What I don't see is how he later gets upset becasue I don't have extra money to help out with things like groceries or car repair or just a general cushion in the bank. If he paid a larger percentage of the bills, I would be able to do these things.....but then he tells me that I would not have the right to claim that I help out equally.

So I give....I don't know what to do

I think both of you should go buy guns! That and alcohol will help. Yeah, guns and liquor will make everything ok. Oh and rescue a pitty bull from somewhere. Buy some guns, get drunk, get a tat, rescue puppy. Maybe not in that order tho, I know all those make me feel better and happy.
