J Ranno is the man !

Folks a good friend of mine recently decided to book his first tattoo. He is over 40 years old, always been a looker (at tattoos) and now wants to get several pieces to represent his children and family.

Of course I recommended All or Nothing as the studio to begin with. John got online and looked at different artists work and decided in J Ranno. He made his booking and was very excited. He wanted a dream catcher surrounding an aggressive looking wolf.

John became worried he couldnt reach J easily be phone, as time drew near he was worried that J might not have a drawing ready. I assured him not to worry, I told him J is a good artist besides being able to handle a tattoo machine.

Thursday night 6 pm the deal went down, John showed up with his son to take some pics and J threw down. The result is a beautiful tattoo apporx 10 inches or more around. J knocked it out in 3 hours and charged a reasonable amount for sure. John is so happy and despite being introduced to the pain we are most knowledgable of, John is planning on his next piece.

Johns pictures didnt turn out and he said J didnt take any. I will wait a week and take one and post it on the nation or myspace for you all to see. Its awesome.

Hats off to J for a great job and bringing another happy customer into the AON family. I have J to myself next sunday and cant wait to see the great work he does. I have watched him quietly do his thing this last year and ow its time for him to shine, J's got alot of talent, watch out for him!

Just how long did that video take, in real time??? They need to do that more, I like watching him create!

so i work with this chick who is all about getting this tattoo. it is her first and she was pretty nervous. i told her about aon and showed her tattoo artists.org. well she forgot about aon but kept searching through tattooartists. today she comes up to me and is like "was the place you told me about in georgia and called aon, cause i found the best artists ever and his name is J ranno and that is where he works."

right after that she told me she sent in the deposit and is waiting to make the final appointment. looks like there will be another satisfied customer!

He says it took him about 3 and a half hours of actual working time.

We will try to twist his arm into making some more videos like that. He's done some mean digital art as well. Click the "ART" link above and check out what all of these guys have done outside of tattooing.

Yeah, I've been all thru that!LOL I think it's safe to say, I've looked at just about each and every image on here. [bigsmile] I like watching the art come to life in the video. Being I can't draw to save my life, it's great to be able to watch, ya know?!?:)

I just wanted to give a shout out to J Ranno and the rest of the AON guys. He did an amazing job on my grim reaper and worked like a madman finishing in about five hours. You guys are great!
