Ranking of swear words

So when you're out to really upset someone. You'll know which combination of words will inflict the most damage.

I have never called someone a wanker before in fear that my feelings of dislike in the person would not be properly portrayed to them. Now that I know it's number four on the list of the worst things you could say, watch out you bloody wankers.

I am really disappointed that Tosser was not on that list next to Wanker.

The C word is horrible.. I hate that word, and I hate anything that has to do with that word. It's not a cool word and once in 8th grade my friend called me it JOKING aorund, but I still cried .. It was that upsetting. hahaha..

To hell with that C word.

I never really understood how a word could evoke that much emotion in someone. Don't get me wrong I have my words that I drive me nuts. Hell I broke my bestfriends nose over something he called me. Looking back it was really dumb to do that, it was just words. But hearing it, at the time I just snapped.

They are words.. That someone is speaking ABOUT YOU. It's the same as if someone says 'your tattoo is s&!tty' it's ON YOU.. No matter what someone says, it evokes some sort of emotion. Something good.. Like 'hey, you look nice today' You're happy about that right? There isn't a good enough answer for things like that. Something someone says to another, will always evoke some sort of emotion no matter what. It's how the world works.

Tasha.

Do you know the origin of the C word? It is a reference to an ancient Egyptian demon goddess who would seduce men and then devour them. However, it was the way she would devour them that made her famous...in the mythology, she had a maw of razor sharp teeth in her...ahem...girl parts.

I really never use the C word at all....but I think its fascinating to know where these bizarre words came from originally.
