Thank you Brandon. You have no idea how I wish I could take him to work with me or not have to work away from home. At almost 14, I know the clock is ticking on our time left with him. We've had dogs before that we had to take on that last vet trip & yes, it was terribly horrible, but with Gus it will be more than that. He is the dog of all dogs to me, like Cain is to you. The connection is different. I know you understand that.

Just watched the other videos posted & like I said in your FB page, Cain has an awesome legacy. I hope one day our paths cross & I have the honor of meeting & shaking the hand of the man Cain chose.

Thank you so much for posting such a difficult story. You and Cain were obviously amazing together. You're right, most people won't "get it". They've never known that pure true love of a dog and then had it ripped away. It's killing me that I will never get my time with my Princess back, and it's making me want to RUN home to Max & Midnight.

Thank you so much for Vicktory and for sharing your love of Cain with the world. He will now be able to forever help other people overcome their ignorance and be able to give those of us who understand a little smile to know that there's one more angel in heaven waiting to lead our precious ones in. Thank you.

This was a hard thread to read. We have 3 pits in our family and I know the pain you're going thru. Any time a family member is lost by any means at all is terribly painful. My thoughts go out to you!!
If I was closer I'd pack up some homebrew and some ammo and take ya out for an afternoon of therapy!

im sorry for all your pain and heartache but Cain is free... he will always be in my heart. he is one lucky dog to have had a best friend like you. i know you always gave him the best. he lived a life better than most people and he has helped you do more great things in life by simply just being apart of yours. im sorry things work out the way they do, but you did the right thing, probably the hardest thing ever, but that selfless unconditional love that Cain always showed you, you showed him right back. Brandon im sorry for your loss... Cain will be missed. deeply...

So I propose a toast.... To CAIN, may his loving memory live on everyday and may he be the continued driving force in your mission of better lives for animals everywhere...

Still thinking about you. Here's hoping that each day will ease the brutal pain you are experiencing. My dogs are my life and many people can't comprehend that level of affection and commitment, especially to an animal. My dogs saved me from the deepest, darkest and most destructive sides of myself. I know that I saved their lives as well, but they have done more for me than I could have ever done for them. Hang in there, bro. We think about you daily in our house and continue to send comforting vibes to you, Ashley and the other pups. Whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Cain would want to carry on and continue kicking ass. Viva la Cain!

We send all of our love from our small family,My Wife,Myself,and our 14yr old husky can only imagine the pain,and we hope you and your loved ones find comfort knowing Cain is no longer suffering,even though we wish it didnt have to come to this.I have been reading all of your post about Cain for a long time and praying that the Chemo might work,thank you for sharing and keeping us posted.I can only pray that the pain lets up a little,for you and your family,and all of us.Cain will be greatly missed.....
