I have a design for tattoo

Hello, I have a design for tattoo. Left chest includes stormy skies, big waves, a boat and boat captain. What direction should the boat and captain be pointed as they crash thru and battle the waves? accross my chest toward the right (West) or left toward my armpit (East)? tattoos
